Steven J. Covert

Steve has been operating Contemporary Business Solutions, Inc., an accounting, payroll, tax and computer consulting practice, since 1995.  Steve’s expertise include:

             .  Installing accounting systems, using QuickBooks and Peachtree.

.  Organizing and training personnel to prepare accurate financial information on a timely    basis.

.  Implementing weekly, monthly and yearly budget systems. 

.  Preparing weekly management information reports.   

Steve is also an adjunct faculty member at Otterbein University teaching courses in managerial accounting.  At Otterbein, Steve was selected to implement and teach a prototype accounting and finance course to McDonald’s franchise consultants. Steve was formerly the Chief Financial Officer at Salvi’s Restaurant Group/Winchester Farm, Inc. in Columbus, Ohio.  While with the Salvi’s/Winchester group he was responsible for the accounting, cash management and tax planning of seven separate companies.  Prior thereto, he worked for Deloitte & Touche, LLP for over six years.  At Deloitte & Touche, Steve advanced to Audit Manager responsible for the supervision and delivery of consulting, tax, audit and other accounting services to a variety of privately held clients.  Steve holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Miami University in Accounting.
